<iframe width="100%" style="aspect-ratio: 16 / 9" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/83LROtqhCQQ" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <p><p>On Sunday, October 4th, 2020 we hosted our second annual (and first virtual) Home Sweet Home celebration!</p></p> <p><p><strong>Together, from our separate homes, we gathered as neighbors and raised over $34,000 for refugee families in Pittsburgh.</strong></p></p> <p><p>This year&#39;s annual fundraiser looked a little different as we shifted to an online gathering due to COVID-19 for the safety and wellbeing of our community. While we missed seeing everyone face-to-face, this virtual event opened up the opportunity to share refugee stories, experience new cultures, and expand the celebration to an even wider community!</p></p> <p><p>We had <strong>over 250 households</strong> from <strong>35 cities</strong>, <strong>16 states</strong> and <strong>2 countries</strong> join the celebration to experience musical performances, refugee stories, African dancing and drumming, cooking tutorials, magic, guest appearances by the Governor and Mayor, and so much more!</p></p> <p><p>Thank you to all who joined and supported us for this incredible community event, and for <strong>making Pittsburgh a place we can all call home.</strong></p></p> <p><p>If you missed Home Sweet Home, you can watch the full event at the link above, or view individual segments on our <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi2YaZV3MMb5Isum_BGszng">YouTube channel</a>.</p></p> <p><h2 id="signature-recipes">Signature Recipes</h2></p> <p><p>As you watch Home Sweet Home, we invite you to join in on the cooking tutorials and interactive activities for the whole family.
