Legal Services for Afghans at Hello Neighbor

Hello Neighbor offers a variety of immigration services to help clients to maintain lawful nonimmigrant status, to secure permanent legal status to remain and thrive in the United States, and to reunify them with family members still living overseas.

These services include:

Applications for Temporary Protected Status
Applications for Humanitarian Parole and Re-Parole
Applications for Work Permits and Travel Documents
Family Reunification and Following to Join Petitions
Immigrant Visa Petitions for family members
Asylum applications
Applications for Permanent Residence

We also provide supports through the immigration process for our clients such as

Basic legal orientation
Assisting with lost/damaged immigration documents
Translating relevant immigration documents into a client’s preferred language
Providing guidance on fee waivers
Preparation for USCIS interviews

At this time, we are unable to provide assistance with removal proceedings or cases involving unaccompanied minors.
