Through a new partnership with the Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland (EGCW), Hello Neighbor is expanding its impact into Westmoreland County. This initiative is specifically designed to bridge the gap between local employers and work-authorized refugees and immigrants, creating a stronger, more vibrant regional economy while helping new neighbors find meaningful work.

This initiative is led by Director of Employment Moshe Sherman and Employment Program Manager Daria Loshak, senior members of the Hello Neighbor team with extensive experience supporting new neighbors with employment opportunities and navigating jobs. Daria is working to ensure that every match between an employer and a job seeker is set up for long-term success.

The seeds for this expansion were highlighted last month at the 2025 Annual Spring Luncheon hosted EGCW. Keynote speaker PA DCED Secretary Rick Siger spotlighted our work as a key opportunity to attract new populations to the area and encouraged local business owners to get involved.
