Friends and Family Potluck Picnic

This is a special friends and family potluck to celebrate the 4th of July. You are welcome to invite any friends or family that would like to learn more about Hello Neighbor and come out and join us for a fun potluck. Please bring one food item (bought or made) with enough to share. We’ll have relay races, a crafting area, a visit from a firetruck, and live music. RSVP here →

Hello Neighbor @ The Pirates!

Hello Neighbor and the Pirates have teamed up for the first annual Hello Neighbor Night at the Pirates. We are buying tickets for mentors and mentees (RSVP REQUIRED) and tickets are also available for purchase in a special section for Friends of Hello Neighbor. Your friends can buy tickets for $20 (includes a free hat!) by using the code “NEIGHBOR.” We’ll provide more details, as we get closer to game day. Summer Fridays @ The Frick

Come join us for Polynesian music, hula dancers, kids' activities and more! Summer Fridays are a special program at the Frick where the grounds are free to the public, including the Car and Carriage Museum, main museum and first floor of the main house. Everyone is invited to sit on the lawn, bring a picnic dinner (or there are food trucks on-site to purchase food) and enjoy an evening together. Hello Neighbor will arrive early to reserve a space on the lawn for our group. Facebook event coming soon!

End of Summer Carnival

This potluck is open to the community. We’re excited to have one last potluck this summer to invite anyone who wants to come and hang out with Hello Neighbor’s Class of 2017! Heinz History Center Visit

Dinner and a Movie

Mentors and mentees are invited for a really fun dinner and a movie night. We’ll provide the food and the movie (likely a Disney film), you provide the families and kids! More information coming soon.

Andy Warhol Museum Visit

How To Be A Muslim Ally Training

We learned how to interact with Muslims in America to ensure comfort and to convey solidarity. This dynamic diversity training provided the insight and resources necessary to be an ally. We learned to alleviate misconceptions that revolve around the Islamic faith and culture today.

Come get crafty with us for a Valentine's Day Card-Making Party. This is an ALL AGES & FREE FAMILY-FRIENDLY event and all crafting supplies will be provided. There will also be free food and coffee. We are going to make Valentine's Day Cards for refugee, immigrant and any other children in need of a little love and attention.
