This month for <strong style="color:#6ec829;"> World Refugee and Immigrant Heritage Month</strong>, we are taking every opportunity to celebrate and support our newest neighbors and the countless ways they contribute to our communities, cities, and world.</p>
<p>Over the past 4 years we have had the honor of working with more than <strong>500 refugees and immigrants</strong> from over <strong>15 different countries</strong>. They represent a wide range of ethnicities, cultures, and life stories, but the one thing they all hold in common is their <strong style="color:#57c9e8;">incredible resilience</strong> and <strong style="color:#ff6c36;">unimaginable generosity and kindness</strong> despite all that’s been stolen from them.</p>
<p>This June, <strong>we invite you to join us as we celebrate our refugee and immigrant neighbors</strong> throughout Pittsburgh and around the world. This month we will be sharing stories, events, and opportunities to stand with your newest neighbors - honoring their contributions to our communities and showing them that they are not alone.</p>

<li><strong>Event Details:</strong> Hello Neighbor is collaborating with Choolaah for a one-day fundraiser! On June 10th ONLY you can order take out, delivery or dine in from Choolah (East Liberty location) and 30% of proceeds from your order will go toward Hello Neighbor and our families. <em><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong></em> When ordering online you must use the <strong>code HELLO</strong> at check out and when ordering in-store you must <strong>state Hello Neighbor's name</strong> or <strong><a href="https://www.helloneighbor.io/assets/helloneighbor_choolah_fundraiser.pdf">show this flyer</a></strong>. <li><strong>Donate to meal trains</strong> for new moms by <a href="https://www.helloneighbor.io/donate">making a donation here</a> and writing "meal train" in the donation comments</li>
<li><strong>Create Baby Boxes</strong> for refugee and immigrant moms and their newborns. <strong>Each box must include:</strong> Diaper bag, newborn clothing, onesies, baby towel and washcloths, nursing pads, lactation tea, infant toy, newborn and size 1 diapers, and wipes. <strong>All items must be NEW</strong>. Boxes can be drop off at Hello Neighbor's office (6587 Hamilton Ave, #1E, Pittsburgh, PA 15206) every Wednesday from 9AM - 5PM!</li>

<li><strong>Event Details:</strong> The Pittsburgh Ivorian Association will organize on June 5th a fitness day to celebrate the first anniversary of the Association. Other associations like Equatorial Guinea, Togo and Cameroon will be represented in the soccer games. <strong>No RSVP necessary</strong> to attend and watch the games. <li><strong>Event Details:</strong> Welcoming Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership are teaming up to host World Square, a platform to celebrate, promote, and welcome our local international communities. <li><strong>Event Details:</strong> In honor of the 20th anniversary of World Refugee Day celebrated around the world, Hello Neighbor is partnering with JFCS and other local organizations to host World Refugee Day Pittsburgh - a virtual celebration highlighting stories from our local refugee and immigrant neighbors.
