<article class="content"> <p>On Saturday, October 23rd, Hello Neighbor gathered our community for a signature kick off event at the Riverhounds game to celebrate our newest mentorship cohort!</p> <p>We were joined by <strong>over 180 members of our community</strong> at Highmark Stadium, including 27 of our newest mentor and mentee families and 16 Study Buddy families, to cheer the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on to a victory!</p> <p>Families gathered in the parking lot before the game for tasty food and family-friendly activities. Kids jumped rope and played games while adults conversed with new friends, and everyone enjoyed delicious chicken dumplings generously donated by <strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/MRBulgogifoodtruck/">MR Bulgogi’s Food Truck</a></strong> before heading into the game.</p> <p>During the game, families cheered together with their mentor families and other Pittsburgh neighbors as the Riverhounds battled their way to a 2-1 victory over the Charleston Battery. After such an isolating year, we are deeply grateful for any and all opportunities to gather our neighbors.
