Together, We Stand

There has never been a more critical time to stand united with your refugee and immigrant neighbors.

Every dollar you donate up to $25,000 will be DOUBLED until December 31st thanks to a generous match from a local family foundation!

In a world divided, we stand together.

Imagine, for a moment. You’ve been forced to flee your home, leaving behind everything you know and love, the comforts of your culture and community, seeking refuge and a safe place to land. After years of applications, background checks and government processing, you are resettled in the United States.

As you step off the airplane, you think: How do I begin to rebuild a life for my family in a new place?

The answer is this: You do not do it alone. That’s where Hello Neighbor steps in.

Starting this winter, we will be expanding our services beyond the post-resettlement period and begin welcoming and supporting our newest neighbors from the moment they arrive in Pittsburgh.

As we work to resettle over 250 refugees, immigrants and Afghan Humanitarian Parolees over the next 12 months, we will be supporting everything from airport pick ups, to finding and furnishing apartments, enrolling in school and English classes, securing employment and more.

This work will not be easy and we cannot do it alone. We need the help of neighbors like you.

Give Where It Matters Most

Now through December 31st, we’ve set out to raise $50,000 to support our work of resettling new arrivals in Pittsburgh. Will you help us reach our goal?

Stand With Refugees

There has never been a more important time to stand with refugees and immigrants, and as we work to welcome more families to Pittsburgh, we need your support more than ever.

“The most important thing Hello Neighbor offers is their spiritual help. They gave us the feeling of not being alone [in the U.S.]. That if you fall, they will take your hand and help lift you up…I am so appreciative of Hello Neighbor and all in their community working to welcome human beings.”

Together, we have made incredible strides in creating a more welcoming Pittsburgh for all and we can’t stop now. Will you stand with us?
