Announcing The Hello Neighbor Network Medium Publication

This new publication amplifies the voices and important work of our Hello Neighbor Network members across the U.S.

September 16, 2020

We are excited to announce that our network of grassroots leaders working with refugees post-resettlement now has an online publication to amplify their voices through the Hello Neighbor Network Medium Channel.

The Hello Neighbor Network consists of grassroots organizations around the U.S. supporting refugees in their communities post-resettlement. They are friends, neighbors, and colleagues with refugees in their community and through close, trusting relationships these organizations and their leaders intimately understand the challenges and triumphs of our refugee neighbors.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check the first two weeks of Network publications:

Five Talking Points when you’re asked why refugee resettlement matters lays the groundwork with some data and facts about the resettlement process to prepare you for conversations about the incredible value refugees bring to our country.

The Hello Neighbor Network: a united front combatting polarization provides an overview of what the Network is and the impact research has shown grassroots organizations have to increase inclusiveness within communities at a time when hatred towards immigrants and refugees has been on the rise.

Meet the Network of Women Leaders Supporting Refugees Post-Resettlement introduces the eight women across the country leading refugee resettlement work at the grassroots level.

In the coming weeks and months, you can find additional articles and OpEds from our Network members offering a perspective from within communities.

Be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss an article, and when something resonates with you, help us to amplify the voices of refugees and their community-based nonprofits!
