National Refugee Resettlement and Immigrant Assistance Database

Why this exists

When I wanted to get involved with a local organization, I had a hard time finding one master list of organizations that supported refugees and immigrants. Not just refugee resettlement agencies, but literacy councils and interfaith groups and all of the social service agencies that supported refugees and immigrants. So I decided to create one. This database started in January, 2017 with a few local organizations and then I shared it with a few friends. And they shared it with a few friends. Before I knew it we had crowdsourced over 300 organizations from 30 states! Then The New York Times included us in an article called, "How You Can Help Refugees in the United States" which helped the database to grow more.

Today we have over 420 organizations from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

If you are looking for a way to get involved here you live, or if you work somewhere that supports refugees and immigrants, please take a moment to add them to the list.
